The report of the Pissarides committee proposes:
The "SUB4: Agrotourism and Gastronomy" project - Action 16931", with a total budget of 17,185,160 Euros, has been included in the Recovery and Resilience Fund. Its main objective is to develop an Agri-Food, Gastronomy and Tourism Interconnection System (AGTIS) that will act as the country's thematic DMO for gastronomy and agritourism. A produced result of AGTIS will be the mapping of the existing tourism products and services provided (e.g. agritourism units, visitable wineries, olive mills, catering businesses), culinary experiences (e.g. organization of themed tours, local interactive workshops, visits to local producers agricultural products and wine, etc.) and the display of the above digitally for the promotion of network participants with the ultimate goal of increasing brand awareness of the country as a culinary destination. The Project is linked to another project funded by the Recovery and Reconstruction Fund (Ministry of Rural Development and Food – "External Agriculture"). The digital display of the AGTIS Network is connected to the portal of the Hellenic Tourism Organization www.visitgreece.gr
Therefore, the proposal is assessed as being implemented.
