The report of the Pissarides committee proposes:

Expansion of the Subject Bank to all classes to ensure the comparability of learning outcomes at a national level and over time.

PARTIALLY IMPLEMENTED

Evaluation

In the 2021-2022 school year, the Subject Bank was applied to the 1st and 2nd grade promotional exams of all types of Lyceum, while in 202202023 it will also be added to the 3rd Lyceum for the graduation exams. The Graded Difficulty Subject Bank is an information base from which 50% of subjects are selected by lottery, while the remaining 50% are selected by the teacher of each course.

At the same time, in the 2021-2022 school year, diagnostic exams were held for students of the 6th grade of the Primary School and the 3rd grade of the High School (Greek PISA) in the subjects of Modern Greek Language and Mathematics, which aim at valid and reliable diagnosis of knowledge, abilities and skills of our students, according to the expected learning outcomes. Last year, 6,000 6th grade Primary and 3rd Grade High School students from 600 schools in the country, 300 Primary and 300 High Schools participated in these exams. In the school year 2022-2023 the application will be universal.

The proposal is assessed as partially implemented, as it is not applied to all classes and lessons.
