Article 44 of Law 4875/2021 provides for the improvement of coordination and the acceleration of the issuance and revision of building permits within special tourist infrastructures, which fall under the competence of the Special Service for the Promotion and Licensing of Tourist Investments, in order to effectively deal with chronic issues and administrative difficulties that until now have undermined tourism development efforts.

The provisions of Law 4759/2020 provide for the simplification and acceleration of the process of drawing up, revising and amending zoning frameworks and urban plans at every level, as well as clarifying the relationships between them.

Therefore, the proposal is evaluated as partially implemented because the spatial planning actions are proposed to focus on tourist areas of the country, as there are significant delays throughout the territory.
