The report of the Pissarides committee proposes:

Codification of regulatory issues of the sector in a single legal framework

PARTIALLY IMPLEMENTED

Evaluation

A part of the regulatory issues of the maritime sector has been codified with the provisions of Law 4948/2022, with the provisions of which the systematization of the entire regulatory framework is achieved, mainly concerning, on the one hand, a) the provisions of Part One of Law 2932/2001 "Free provision of maritime cabotage services - Establishment of a General Secretariat for Ports and Port Policy - Conversion of Port Funds to Limited Companies and other provisions" (A' 145), as applicable, which introduced regulations on the abolition of restrictions on the provision of maritime services transport carried out between mainland ports and islands or between island ports by passenger and vehicular ferries, passenger or cargo ships.

However, coding is a part of the whole infrastructure sector.

Therefore, the proposal is assessed as partially implemented.
